Boye

A short story about a red-skirt-wearing fisherman’s son named “Boye.” He goes out near the of a river near his family home when he spots a flock of seagulls fighting over a fish. He attempts to save the fish but is too late, so he buries the body in the shallows with what is known as the glowing “sea angel” flowers sprouting near the side. On his way home, his trip is interrupted by non-other than the spirit of the fish formed by water and split into two, one representing the light colored foam in the sea and the other representing the dark deeper waters.
